First United Insurance is an independent insurance agency with offices in Park River, Grafton, Adams and Hoople, ND. The agency dates back to the 1960's, when it was affiliated with First Bank System. In 1987, it was purchased from First Bank System by a group of local investors.

First United Insurance is a multi-line agency that offers auto, home, business, farm, life, health, long-term care and crop insurance. We also represent a variety of companies, so we can shop the markets for you. Some of the companies that we represent in the property and casualty business are United Fire and Casualty, Grinnell Mutual, Center Mutual, State Auto, Continental Western, Federated, Dairyland, Dundee Mutual, Allied, North Star, Progressive and Walsh County Mutual, to name just a few.

We have crop insurance contracts with Heartland, RCIS and Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance.

We also have more than 20 life insurance companies and represent many of the best long-term care companies in the United States.
