Spring Crop Insurance Prices Set

The spring projected price used for crop insurance revenue policies for the 2026-27 corn crop on Friday ended February at $4.62 a bushel. The soybean projected price came in at $11.09, up 55 cents from last year's price. Projected prices for spring wheat are $6.19 a bushel, which is down 36 cents from last year.

DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

Retail fertilizer prices for the fourth week of February 2026 continued to move higher. Seven of the eight major fertilizers were more expensive compared to last month. Only one nutrient, urea, was higher by a considerable amount, which DTN designates as anything 5% or more.
