Treasury Narrows BOI Rule to Foreigners

The new Beneficial Ownership Information final rule announced on Tuesday by the Treasury Department essentially removes the burden of reporting ownership details to the federal government for an estimated 32 million small businesses, including 230,000 farm operations.

DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

Retail fertilizer prices are somewhat varied as the calendar changes over to August. Five of the eight major fertilizers are lower compared to last month with the remaining three nutrients slightly higher. DTN designates a significant move as anything 5% or more.

USDA Reports Summary

USDA found an additional 1.4 million planted acres for both the corn and soybean crops to increase the corn crop slightly and boost the soybean crop to the largest in U.S. history.
