DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

For the second week in a row, most fertilizer prices were lower than the previous month. The only fertilizer with a significant move in either direction was urea. The nitrogen fertilizer was 5% lower compared to last month with an average price of $556 per ton.

House Aggies Advance Farm Bill

The bill, HR 8467, the $1.5 trillion Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2024, passed out of committee on a 33-21 vote with four Democrats joining 29 Republicans to back the bill. The committee debate had a handful of key debates and votes, but Democrats were unable to change major provisions in the bill.
